LOOK FOR LIONS ON STREET CORNERS ON OCTOBER 9, 2009

(Libertyville, IL) -- Members of the Libertyville Lions Club will take to the streets of Libertyville on October 9th and 10th, 2009 to raise funds as part of the annual Candy Day.  Funds donated by community members will be used to provide sight and hearing services.

According to Lion Geary Hedrick of Libertyville Lions Club, “Money raised will allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community including helping those who can't afford sight and hearing products or services. Lions members thank everyone who contributes to this important work. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”

The Libertyville Lions Club meets monthly on the first and third Monday at 7:00pm at the Libertyville Civic Center.  Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
